Flash Services has simplified its High-Speed Internet and modem options to streamline and enhance new customer experiences. These changes include:

  • Removal of Bell Canada DSL in Ontario and Quebec, with a strong focus on our cable offerings! We will continue to offer DSL in the maritime provinces through Bell Aliant.
  • Removal of the Rent-to-Own modem option. This will highlight our popular Monthly Rental option and Purchase option. This change will also impact existing customers who might want to upgrade their speed or move their service from DSL to cable in the future and where a new modem is required.*  

Customers will continue to enjoy our various speed options and flexible modem purchase choices across Canada.

All orders of DSL plans with Bell Canada received by May 31 will be accepted and completed. No new orders will be taken after that time. Existing Flash Services customers (with DSL in Bell Canada areas) will not experience changes to their service and may continue to make changes to their account/services.  

* Starting June 1, Rent-to-Own will not be available for new customers. If an existing customer has a Rent-to-Own modem and doesn’t make any changes to his/her plan, this customer will not be affected. However, if an existing customer wants to change their plan (e.g., from DSL to Cable and this move requires a new modem), only Monthly Rental or Purchase options will be available.Chat with Customer Care for details and applicable restrictions.
